A New Version Of A
Practical Beauty

New Horizon Shangle® offers the same exclusive design that’s made our Classic Horizon Shangle one of the best-selling shingles in the architectural category; the difference is that New Horizon has no “cut-outs" Like Classic Horizon, New Horizon is built on a full-size base shingle with a unique granule overlay pattern and intermittent shadow lines. The difference lies in an extra-tough fiber glass base with no "cut outs” for the same rich dimensional appearance with an even easier application. Its sophisticated aesthetics and affordable price make New Horizon an excellent choice for new construction or reroofing applications.

New Horizon is built on a 12 x 36 one-piece base shingle with overlay pads of asphalt
and granules to simulate the weight, depth and texture of natural roofing products.
Its "no cut-out" design results in an even faster application.

Outstanding Application and
Performance

Thoughtfully engineered to maintain its
good looks for many years, New Horizon
is built using a one-piece Shangle® and
self-sealing strips that assure structural
integrity and outstanding resistance to
wind, driving rain and other harsh
elements. New Horizon’s "no cut-out”
design, coupled with the industry’s
tightest dimensional tolerances, help
ensure fast application and consistent,
accurate installations. No special hip and
ridge accessories are required.

Au Unsurpassed
Protection Program

A warranty program should reflect
the quality and innovation of the product
it stands behind. As such, CertainTeed
backs New Horizon with a 25-year limited transferable warranty against manufacturing defects, including five years of extra protection in the early years following application when the homeowner needs it most. SureStart covers
replacement cost on labor and materials
(excluding roof tear-off and disposal costs) should an unlikely manufacturing defect occur during the first five years following installation.
A CertainTeed Roof Stands
Above the Rest

CertainTeed, one of the first manufacturers of asphalt roofing shingles, is widely acknowledged as the industry leader for innovation in product
design, color, performance and warranty
programs. Each and every CertainTeed asphalt shingle meets or exceeds important industry
performance standards set by both ASTM
and certified by UL. And no other manufacturer gives you more styles and colors to choose from. Innovation through science and art is more than our slogan—its been our way of doing
business for over 90 years.
